I wanted to continue a series of allegories, the first one was about loneliness (thanks to @ricardilus course), you can see it in my feed.

Everything has a meaning:
.
- We tend to see more beautiful symmetrical faces, that's why I made her completely symmetrical.
.
- I took some inspiration from the #vanitas paintings. Those are classic paintings with A LOT of symbolism. They show a moral message about the transience of life, the insignificance of our existence, the ephimeral worldly pleasures and that wealth and power don't avoid the tragic end.
.
- So, in vanitas paintings we can see daytime butterflies and night butterflies. They represent the ephemeral, and the fragility of life.
.
- They usually add flowers to the still life (or fruits) and some of them are rotten or dry. Same message as above, nothing is eternal. The flowers I used were sakura and carnations, cause their meaning is related to beauty.

- Flies go for corruption and death (same for the skull).
